Measuring principle
The instrument operates on the FMCW radar principle. A continuous frequency-modulated microwave signal (76–81 GHz) is transmitted via the antenna and propagates at the speed of light. When the signal reaches the surface of the medium, part of it is reflected back to the antenna due to the change in dielectric constant.
The frequency difference (beat frequency) between the transmitted and received signals is proportional to the distance (time-of-flight). Advanced digital signal processing converts this into a precise level value. The high frequency and wide bandwidth provide excellent resolution, while the narrow beam and advanced algorithms suppress interference from agitators, dust, or false echoes — ensuring stable output even in turbulent or dusty conditions.
This professional-grade 80GHz radar level transmitter combines cutting-edge technology with user-friendly features, offering a reliable, cost-effective solution for your most demanding level measurement challenges — inspired by the performance standards of global leaders in industrial instrumentation.
